Batman v Superman:Dawn of Justice |Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman
FINALLY have our first look at Gal Godot in the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
Director Zack Snyder has revealed Wonder Woman’s new look in the forthcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film.
The image shows a leather-clad Gadot in thigh high boots brandishing a sword in the midst of a volcano spewing ash.
The new costume is a departure from the recognisable red, blue, white and gold outfit that Wonder Woman is known for.
The new image looks more like it could be a still from Snyder’sSpartan film 300 than an image of Wonder Woman.
Just like the Man of Steel and The Dark Knight trilogy, the new film gives a darker take on the DC Comics superheroes, moving away from the previously more flamboyant comic book and film depictions of the characters.
According to the website First Showing, the brief footage showed Affleck’s Batman turning on the Bat Signal – only for Superman to subsequently appear, staring down at the Caped Crusader from the sky.’
Affleck, along with Gadot and Henry Cavill – aka Superman – also made a brief appearance at the Warner Bros panel before returning to filming.
The Wonder Woman reveal follows a new snap of Affleck as Batman – in which he appeared even moodier than before.
