Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania Trailer: Varun, Alia Look Adorably In Love
The trailer of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ is out and Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan make for an adorably in love, shuddh desi couple!
Varun Dhawan plays the title character of Rakesh ‘Humpty’ Sharma, while Alia Bhatt is desi belle Kavya Pratap Singh.
Based in Delhi, Humpty and Kavya fall in love but her impending arranged marriage plans stand in the way of their happily-ever-after love story. And so, just like Shah Rukh Khan’s Raj from ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, Varun’s Humpty must use every trick in the book to win the girl’s hand. The film certainly has a strong DDLJ hangover and even includes a scene where Varun is emotionally watching Kajol’s train climax sequence in the Aditya Chopra-directed classic.
As for Varun and Alia, there’s sparking chemistry between the two. A sneak peek of a hot kiss in an intimate scene is seen in the trailer.
The first poster of the film has already sparked off a rage on Twitter, with several Varun and Alia fans posting selfies and dubbing them ‘humphies’.
