Was the trailer of Action Jackson hinting at Salman Khan?
Ajay Devgn, known for his action packed, masaledaar films, released the trailer of his upcoming film Action Jackson on Wednesday, October 22, 2014.
By the looks of the film, it looks more powerful and rowdier than his past ventures. The reason I say this is cause the film features Sonakshi Sinha and is directed by south superstar Prabhudeva. Ajay looks like the advanced version of his cop attire of the Singham series and this time, a sword is his main weapon.
Although this two-minute trailer was entertaining, the trailer also revealed some digs being made at actor Salman Khan’s past film dialogues. The genre of the films may be the same but the trailer disappointed as the film was set to have more stunts rather than some Jackie Chang moves with a sword. It looks like the dialogues of the film were written keeping Salman Khan’s film dialogues in mind.
If one recollects, in Wanted, one dialogue said, “Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di toh main aapne aap ki bhi nahi suntan.” In response to this, the AJ dialogue reads, “Na commitment, na appointment, only punishment.”
Another dialogue was written keeping the film Kick in mind cause the film had a dialogue, which said, “Mein dil mein aata hoom, samajh mein nahi”. Again AJ responds to the dialogue saying, “Pasand aaye toh dil mein warna dimag mein bhi nahi”
Does the above dialogues mean lack of originality or the makers are not sure if the audience will accept the film?
I think the latter cause Salman Khan is known to have given Bollywood the most number of 100cr films in the recent years. So may be writing a dialogue similar to those blockbuster hits, might keep the boat standing on a windy day.
I’m definitely waiting to see the performance of the film once it releases on December 5, 2014.
