It’s back to school days for Deepika Padukone
The reigning Queen of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone will be visiting her school for a fund raiser event.
Having being born and brought up in Bangalore, she passed out from the prestigious Sophia High School. Having been an ex Sophia student, the school authorities found it best to call their favourite student back to raise funds for an event. She was approached for the same a month back. Since it’s her ex school, she couldn’t say a no and had a brief conversation with the management and faculty who disclosed details of the event.
The school plans to extend its services. Hence they have decided to build a new wing. So all the proceeds from the big fund raiser event will go towards building the new wing. The new wing will provide better amenities and facilities to its students and staff.
Deepika, immediately confirmed her presence and asked her team to keep the day free as the actor showed keen interest to re-visit her school and be a part of this event.
Although the shooting of her upcoming film Piku is currently on her mind. But who would say a no to their school?
