Akshay Kumar was surprised by the film title ‘Baby’
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar says he couldn’t understand the connection of the word Baby as the title of his upcoming action film. But gradually the meaning seemed to seep through and he understood the connection.
“I was very surprised when I first heard the script but slowly I got to know about the importance of the title ‘Baby’. It is a thriller with lots of action. The story has been inspired from real life incidents. I play an under-cover intelligence cop,” the actor informed the media last night during the trailer launch of the film.
The film has been directed by Neeraj Pandey, the man behind ‘A Wednesday’ and ‘Special 26’.
While Akshay Kumar plays the lead in the film, it also stars Anupam Kher, Rana Daggubati, Danny Denzongpa and Taapsee Pannu.
Akshay seems to be very hopeful of the film and hope the audience will appreciate their efforts.
He said, “People have liked Neeraj’s film, so there is a lot of curiosity about Baby. People are waiting for the film.”
The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishnan Kumar, Shital Bhatia, Cape of Good Films and Crouching Tiger.
