OMG! Farah Khan to replace Salman Khan as BIgg Boss 8 host

Yes, you heard it right; Farah Khan will step into Salman Khan’s shoes to become the host of ‘Bigg Boss 8’. Salman Khan had already made his intentions clear of not being eager to host the 8th season of Bigg Boss on Colors. Salman’s contract expires in January and he will be shooting for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ after that.

According to reports, Bigg Boss 8, which was supposed to end on 4 January, will now end in February. The show has been extended by a month, however, Salman Khan will host only till January, after which Farah Khan will take over the role. Regarding extension of the show, The channel believes the show is doing really well and the TRP’s have shown a drastic improvement from the first few weeks, and they don’t want to lose out on the numbers The production team reportedly, had a meeting with the housemates and most of them have apparently agreed to it.

According to another report, the production team first approached Karan Johar, and then Anil Kapoor to replace Khan. However, both of them refused. Hence, Farah who apparently loves the show was asked to come on board. However, with no Salman it is quite difficult to imagine Bigg Boss. It would be fascinating to see how Farah Khan turns out as a new host.
