These actors are making their ‘comebacks’ with a bang!
Once an actor, always an actor. Well, to prove this, the coming few months will witness many actor comebacks in Bollywood.
AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN
Last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’ (2010) Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set to make an impactful comeback on silver screen. She had taken a break after her wedding and baby and will be seen in Sanjay Gupta’s next movie ‘Jazbaa’. She is expected to begin shooting in January 2015.
RAVEENA TANDON
Raveena Tandon will make her come back as a jazz singer in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ after her last performance in ‘Buddah hoga tera baap’ (2011).
SHINEY AHUJA
Shiney Ahuja who disappeared from the silver screen due to a sexual harassment case which was filed against him will be seen soon in Anees Bazmee’s film after his last appearance in ‘Ghost’ 2012.
KAJOL
Kajol who has been in and out of Bollywood was last seen in the 2010 film ‘My name is Khan’ and ‘We are family’. The actress will now make a comeback in the remake of the 2014 Malayalam hit ‘How old are you’. This film will be produced by husband Ajay Devgn.
GOVINDA
Govinda’s performance with Salman Khan in ‘Partner’ had impressed the audience. However, he later disappeared from the film industry. Govinda will soon be seen in couple of movies like ‘Kill Dill’ and ‘Happy ending’.
ARMAAN KOHLI
Armaan Kohli who became popular due to his participation in the reality show ‘Big Boss season 7’ will be seen in a negative role in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Confirming the same, Armaan had stated, “Finally, it has happened. I am blessed to be making my comeback in films after 10 years”.
REKHA
Yesteryear beauty, Rekha will be seen in the upcoming film ‘Super Nani’ with a lead role. The film is about a journey of a grandmother and how she changes herself and gets into a complete revamp mode. The movie will hit the screens on October 31.
POOJA BHATT
Pooja Bhatt who has been working behind the cameras as director and producer will be seen on silver screen in Reema Kagti’s ‘Mr. Chaalu’ which will be produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Her role is that of a no- nonsense woman and appears in the film just before the interval.
There is nostalgia attached to these actors and so we want to see them. But will they still be able to draw audiences on their own? Let’s wait and watch.
