Bigg Boss 8 – Weekend Ka Vaar – Salman Talks About The Gautam-Karishma Fight

Salman is known to take the Bigg Boss housemates to task every Saturday and this time too, he did just that. And might we add, and how! The actor and host brought up a feeling most of the viewers had been experiencing this past week – an overdose of the Gautam and Karishma fight.

Post the argument during the task, the house had practically ganged up on Gautam. Over the last week, he has apologized several times, but it seemed that no one, especially Karishma or Deepshika were in the mood to take it.

And Salman brought up exactly that! The fact that mistakes happen, and the television actor has apologized several times over, yet he is being left alone and treated quite badly. He spoke about how Deepshika’s team took the task to a whole new level by rubbing chilli on faces and played unfair when they covered their own faces when it was their turn to face the heat.

Questioning Karishma Tanna

When Karishma Tanna went on to defend herself, Salman chose to respond by saying that this was only the second week hinting that there will be much more to come. He also told her that because she used the insult in her favour, by asking Bigg Boss to disqualify him from the game, it seemed as though she used the whole argument to get an edge over the other team in the task. When Karishma denied such an intention, he asked her if she reacts the same way when someone insults in the outside world. When she responded with a negative answer, he asked why she responded so dramatically over here. When Karishma replied saying that this was a game show, Salman cut her right there and stressed on the words ‘game show.’ He also told her, and the rest of the house mates, that they made Gautam a star.

Salman even did something he’s never done before. He asked Karishma to come into the confession room where he had a one on one talk with her. She started off by saying how hurt and humiliated she was, but at the same time, how bad she felt for Gautam in the last few days because at the end of the day, he is young and immature, but at the end of the day, abuse wasn’t allowed. Salman clarified that physical abuse wasn’t allowed but there is no clause for verbal abuse. He ended the one on one talk by telling Karishma that she did use it to her advantage and this is just the beginning of the show.

Others Weren’t Spared Either

Salman took Arya to task too, on his comment about Gautam’s friendship with Diandra first, and then Sonali. (Arya had made a comment on how morally wrong it was wrong that Gautam was singing for one girl one week, and another, next week).

He even asked Praneet about his point of view about the task who then explained that it wasn’t fair his team was made to stand up and leave the task while the opposite team continued to sit through the task the next day. He said that all of them could have taken the stand without leaving the task too. Salman then points to Minnisha Lamba who was having this argument with Praneet a couple of days back, but refusing to understand his point of view.

Gautam wasn’t spared either. While in a conversation with Salman, Sushant said something and Gautam immediately asked him to keep quiet. Salman referred to Gautam’s looks as that of a psycho, to which Gautam replied saying that his heart was actually nice. Salman disagreed and said that if you have a nice heart, it shows on the face, and if you have a psycho heart, that too, shows on the face.

Diandra’s friendship with Gautam came under the scanner too, but not by Salman, but a called instead. He questioned Diandra on her relationship with Gautam and accused her of not standing by him during his hard times. She clarified her stand, however, was left in tears by the end of it.

Some Were Applauded

Salman applauded Preetam for standing up for Gautam and told him that he was going in the right direction. He told Praneet too, that he was going the right way.

The show ended with Praneet being safe, But Sukirti and Gautam being in the danger zone. Who will get eliminated, we will only know tomorrow.
