SHE CAME IN LIKE A WRECKING BALL – Miley stumps everyone again at the 2014 VMAs!
The lady won the best Video of the Year for her video “wrecking ball” which had created quite a stir when it was released, so much so that a new, ‘tamed’ director’s cut version had to be released for viewers. But Miley seems to have put her controversial past behind.
Her changed ways were evident when she opted out of the acceptance speech at the VMAs, with most of the people conjecturing it to be another mood swing of the fickle minded pop star. But this time, what Miley had in store shocked one and all. She sent a homeless man by the name of Jesse in her place to receive her award. Jesse gave a moving speech about his troubles as a homeless man and said,
“I survived in shelters all over the city. I’ve cleaned hotel rooms been and been an extra in your movies and in your life.”
He also directed Miley’s fans to her Facebook page where she had a personal message for all of them. The note read,
“Help me raise awareness and funds to end youth homelessness! This is just the beginning for me, but we’re going to get started now by focusing on My Friend’s Place, a homeless center for young people in Hollywood,”
Now that’s how you do it ladies and gentleman, Miley Cyrus style!
