Shraddha Kapoor to sing in Haider
Shraddha Kapoor who made her debut with the 2010 film Teen Patti shot to fame with the massive hit Aashiqui 2 and has been on a roll since its release. Now after the success of her recent film Ek Villain, Shraddha will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Haider.
Interestingly, the actress does not just reprise the role of Arshia in the film, but will also be seen crooning. In fact Shraddha will be singing a traditional Kashmiri song along with her costar Tabu, titled ‘Roshe Valle’. Earlier, Shraddha had sung the track ‘Galliyan’ in her last release Ek Villain, that went on to become one of the most heard tracks. Apart from singing in the film, both Tabu and Shraddha will apparently also perform live at the music launch of Haider.
Haider, which is an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet and is set in Kashmir, stars Tabu, Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha and Kay Kay Menon, and is scheduled for released on October 2, 2014.
